About
Hi. I am Lidia, an artist, illustrator and author.
Growing up in Berlin, as a child of migrant parents from Serbia, I was exposed to many different cultures and worlds early on. Today, I find great joy in materializing the worlds within my own mind into pictures and stories.
After completing my Master's degree in Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam in 2022, I started working as an illustrator and picturebook artist.
My debut book 'The Grand Hotel of Feelings' was part of my Master’s thesis and found a publisher the same day of my final presentation. The book is about to be published in 20+ languages.
Next to creating picturebooks, I also enjoy working with national and international clients on editorial, cultural or commercial projects.
